Theresa
A. Freni
While attending community college in 1984, Theresa
was selected by the Military Contract Administration to work as
an apprentice for the Department of the Army’s Graphics Department
in Fort Dix, New Jersey. She received several honorable
recognitions by military officials for her perseverance and commitment towards
the preparation of visual training aides for new recruits as well
as special events held on and off the Fort Dix Military Base.
Her dedication to excellence was recognized and valued, resulting
in a full time position offered by the Department of the Army,
soon after she transferred to McGuire Air Force Base.
Theresa did not let this unexpected opportunity
interfere with her educational goals. After community college,
Theresa continued working full time while attending evening courses
at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, majoring in Communication
Design.
In 1988, she began her career in the sign
industry. The military style Theresa was accustom in providing
was illustrated in her work ethnics towards creating automated
production files for signage fabrication and installation.
Theresa ambitiously continued to further her education
by attending evening courses that focused more on
the sign industry. She took courses in project management, construction
and obtained a certificate in AutoCAD, graduating with honors.
Theresa was not intimidated by the industry and would initiate
any opportunity to learn more about the fabrication and installation
methods of signage. While working with full service sign companies,
Theresa applied her education along with her sign industry experience
and successfully managed corporate re-image programs and significant
individual projects, both nationally
and internationally.
Her work in project management has received accolades by respected
companies such as: Monigle Associates, The Trammell Crow Company,
and Bovis.

"No
matter how challenging the project, Theresa rose to the occasion.
Her abilities and passion to handle all aspects of a project are
unparallel in our industry."
